Sustainability should not be a feature of the building.
We fully supports and promotes sustainability within our practice and our projects. We acknowledge the effect that climate change is having on our current and future lives, the need to protect our environment, enhance social cohesion, and ensure financial security for the present and future generations. We strive to minimise our own impact on the environment by making sustainability a fundamental part of the way we operate and approach the design and delivery processes of our developments. We are committed to develop designs that reconcile ethical concerns with our clients' priorities. We believe that sustainability should not be a feature of the building, but instead be integral to the design from the outset. We hope for the support of our clients in our projects so we can incorporate passive design, including siting of the building and thermal mass, long-term maintenance considerations and lifespan of the materials with green technologies including green roofs, ground source heat pumps and rainwater harvesting systems.
